Minimum Wage Increases Impact Restaurants
Friday, June 13th, 2008The minimum wage will rise 70 cents to $6.55 per hour from $5.85 per hour beginning July 24. Restaurants now face higher labor expenses in addition to commodity costs skyrocketing. Many chains have offset higher costs by boosting menu prices.
